I love going to ceramics classes with Nieves because there is always a very pleasant and motivating atmosphere. In addition, her pieces with smiley faces and flowers inspire me to create and paint with small colorful details.

How long are the workshops?
We will conduct a two-hour workshop (approximately). There is always someone who needs a little more flexibility, so I adapt to your pace. No one leaves the workshop without a painted piece, relax and enjoy the process.
What type of clay will we use?
We will use high temperature clay of a light color (white or beige). It is a very resistant clay (stoneware) so that the pieces can be used for many years. They can be put in the microwave and dishwasher without risk of spoiling.
When can I pick up my part?
It will be ready for pick-up in approximately 15 days. First wait a few days for the piece to dry completely. Later, it has to pass through the oven twice (at approximately 1000º and 1200º degrees). I will also have to glaze it with clear gloss glaze… so it will be a long process. But I assure you it will be worth the wait.
Is it possible to request shipment of parts?
Yes. A couple of weeks after the workshop you can write me and send me a picture of the piece you made and we can talk about shipping in case you can’t come by to pick it up.
Please note that shipping is not included in the price of the workshop.
In what language are the workshops taught?
The workshops are in Valencian, Spanish and English (in case translation is needed).

Can I sign up if I have never done a ceramics workshop before?
Of course. In the same workshop there are always people of different levels and it is not a problem at all if it is your first experience with mud. On the contrary, it will be wonderful to see you seduced by this new hobby that will surely get you hooked.
What should I bring?
Nothing, all materials are included in the price. However, if you are fond of painting and you have your special brushes with which you can paint wonders, you can bring them and use your own brushes. However, here’s everything you need, even some nice aprons to get us more into the role of craftswomen.
