My name is Nieves and I created my brand Pottery Shed after dedicating more than a decade to teaching elementary and middle school students.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

sometimes I find it hard to decide if I am more of a teacher than a ceramist or more of a ceramist than a teacher. The point is that teaching is my vocation and ceramics is my passion. So for the last few years I have been giving workshops throughout the Valencian Community. I work mainly in the Marina Alta area, but I don’t hesitate when I am asked to move with all my gear to other areas further away… because the best thing about this job is to meet new people and that every day is an adventure with new smiling faces enjoying the mud.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I like my students to enjoy creating without pressure or complexes. The pieces that come out of my workshops have a carefree and cheerful air and there are plenty of mugs and pots with smiling faces and colorful cheeks, flowers and goldfish.<\/p>\n

If you are willing to let your imagination fly and create like a child, without complexes or prejudices, you have come to the right place. I love going to ceramics classes with Nieves because there is always a very pleasant and motivating atmosphere. In addition, her pieces with smiley faces and flowers inspire me to create and paint with small colorful details.<\/p>\n
